The Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has announced that the Government of Sharjah will present a unified and forward-looking vision at GITEX Global 2025, taking place from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Under the theme ‘Powered by Tech, Driven by People,’ a single pavilion will bring together 20 government entities to showcase 14 pioneering digital projects, reinforcing the emirate’s growing status as a hub for digital excellence and human-centric innovation.
A Unified Digital Front
In a coordinated effort to present a cohesive strategy, the SDD organized a Preparatory Forum to align all participating government entities. This move ensures that Sharjah’s presence at the global tech event is impactful and unified. His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of SDD, described the upcoming participation as “exceptional,” noting that it will deliver a meaningful impact that builds on the Sharjah Digital Integration Programme, previously approved by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The pavilion will highlight the significant progress Sharjah has made in advancing its digital transformation agenda to better serve its residents and businesses.
