The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Labour Fund, Tamkeen, has announced the launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, a key initiative of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). The week-long celebration will feature a diverse lineup of events and activities designed to highlight the latest entrepreneurial trends and connect founders with experts and specialists from across the globe.
A Week of Innovation and Expansion
Scheduled to run from November 16 to 20, the week will feature a series of specialized workshops, interactive panel discussions, and talks in collaboration with several local partners. The program is set to focus on crucial themes for the modern startup, including technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, and strategic business development. A significant emphasis will be placed on encouraging and equipping enterprises to take their first steps toward regional market expansion.
MENA Angel Investment Summit Takes Center Stage
A major highlight of the week will be the 10th Edition of the Middle East and North Africa Angel Investment Summit 2025, scheduled for November 19. The summit is expected to be a major convergence point for the region’s investment community, attracting an estimated 300 investors, 50 startups, and over 600 visitors from around the world to foster new partnerships and funding opportunities.
Strengthening Bahrain’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
This initiative is a direct reflection of Tamkeen’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and strengthening the entrepreneurial landscape in Bahrain.
