Automaker Tesla has officially expanded its physical retail and service footprint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, opening its second national center in Jeddah.
Located at the Jeddah Auto Mall, the facility marks a strategic push into the Western Province, aligning with growing domestic demand for electric vehicles and the sustainable mobility targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
Quick Facts
- Second Tesla physical center opens in Saudi Arabia.
- Jeddah hub features sales, service, and AI robotics displays.
- Supercharger network expands to 48 stalls across four cities.
Expanding the EV Footprint in Saudi Arabia
Tesla initiated its Saudi Arabian operations in April 2025 with an online configurator launch at Bujairi Terrace, followed by its first physical hub in Riyadh on Takhassousi Road in June 2025.
The new Jeddah Auto Mall location serves as a dual-purpose sales and service center. It allows potential buyers to test drive the Model 3 and Model Y, which currently anchor the automaker’s global volume sales.
Tesla is rolling out aggressive local pricing to capture market share in the GCC. The long-range Model 3 sedan enters the market starting at SAR 154,990, while the Model Y midsize SUV starts at SAR 189,990.
The company has also introduced its polarising Cybertruck to the Kingdom, pricing the utility vehicle from SAR 434,990.
Rapid Supercharger Network Deployment
A major hurdle to EV adoption in the Middle East remains charging infrastructure. To combat range anxiety, Tesla is aggressively investing in its proprietary Supercharger network across Saudi Arabia.
The automaker currently operates 48 Superchargers spread across four major cities: Riyadh, Dammam, Taif, and Jeddah.
These stations, capable of adding up to 282 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes, are strategically located in high-traffic retail centers like Yasmin Mall and Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, Al Nakheel Mall in Riyadh, and Jouri Mall in Taif.
Localizing Maintenance and AI Services
The Jeddah center integrates an in-house service department staffed by trained technicians, representing a departure from the traditional third-party dealership franchise model prevalent in the Middle East.
To support fleet maintenance, Tesla also operates a Mobile Service division in the country, allowing owners to schedule repairs directly at their homes or workplaces.
Beyond automotive retail, the Jeddah location functions as an interactive technology showcase. Visitors can view demonstrations of the Optimus humanoid robot and explore the automaker’s AI and charging ecosystems.
Tesla noted that its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) advanced driver assistance suite is expected to officially launch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a later, unspecified date.
