Trend Micro And WDH Launch Magna AI To Scale Enterprise AI Transformation

4 Min Read

Global cybersecurity leader Trend Micro and systems integration giant Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company (WDH) have announced a letter of intent to form Magna AI, a new venture aimed at creating a full-value chain global AI transformation factory for enterprises. The new company is being established to provide end-to-end services across AI infrastructure, applications, and operations for industries and governments worldwide.

An End-to-End AI Factory

Magna AI aims to differentiate itself by offering a unified factory model that combines WDH’s AI hardware and systems integration expertise with Trend Micro’s AI security leadership. The platform, which will be integrated with NVIDIA NIM (NVIDIA Inference Microservices), is designed to provide a secure, end-to-end solution for building and deploying AI.

The company’s full-stack model will focus on five key areas:

  • AI-Compute & Infrastructure: Architecting and deploying optimized AI infrastructure across public, private, sovereign, or on-premises environments.
  • AI-Native Applications & Automations: Building practical applications for real-world enterprise and national use cases.
  • AI-Powered Industry Solutions: Creating tailored platforms for sectors such as finance, healthcare, and government.
  • AI-Secured Experiences: Embedding security-by-design into every layer of the AI stack to ensure trust and compliance.
  • AI-Services & Advisory: Providing expert engineering teams embedded directly within customer operations to accelerate impact.

Leadership Vision for a Secure AI Future

The partnership leverages the core strengths of both parent companies to address a critical market need for secure and scalable AI.

“Security is no longer an afterthought in the AI world—it is the foundation,” said Eva Chen, CEO of Trend Micro. “With Magna AI, we are embedding enterprise-grade protection into the core of AI transformation. Our vision is clear: AI that is trusted, secure, and truly transformative.”

Robert Hwang, Chairman of WDH, added, “This venture brings our global manufacturing and integration expertise into a new era of intelligent transformation. Magna AI is the embodiment of a commitment to enabling large-scale, high-performance AI infrastructure and systems that delivers real results.”

MENA Relevance: Dr. Moataz BinAli at the Helm

In a significant move for the MENA tech ecosystem, Dr. Moataz BinAli has been appointed as Magna AI’s inaugural Chief Executive Officer. With over two decades of experience at global technology leaders including Trend Micro, SAP, IBM, and Microsoft, Dr. BinAli’s appointment signals a strong connection between the new global venture and the rapidly advancing AI ambitions of the Middle East. His leadership is expected to ensure Magna AI is well-positioned to support the region’s large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

“We are not just building a company—we are crafting the core of the next intelligent revolution,” said Dr. BinAli. “Our mission is to deliver secure, scalable, and autonomous AI solutions that will empower enterprises to lead in the new century.”
