Tunisia’s OST Greenification Program Offers Funding for Green Projects

Applications are now open for the OST Greenification Program, a unique nine-month support program by Open Startup (OST) that mentors and finances startups, SMEs, and associations in Tunisia to become more environmentally responsible or scale their existing green impact. The initiative provides in-kind funding and technical support to help implement and scale impactful green projects.


Program Overview and Mission

The mission of the OST Greenification Program is to help Tunisian organizations launch new green projects or expand their current sustainability efforts. The program offers a hybrid format over nine months, combining training, mentorship, and in-kind financial support to help bring impactful environmental and social projects to life.


What Participants Will Receive

The program offers a comprehensive support system tailored to the needs of each participant. The main benefits include:

  • In-kind Funding: Financial support to cover specific services, tools, or resources essential for implementing the project.
  • Personalized Coaching & Mentorship: Tailored support on topics like green business models, impact assessment, and funding readiness.
  • Access to a Global Network: Connect with innovators, partners, and experts driving environmental change.

The program is divided into two main tracks with different levels of in-kind funding:

For Green Entities (Already working on sustainability):

  • Amplify Track: Up to 60,000 TND for existing green entities scaling their activities with strong impact.
  • Pilot Track: Up to 20,000 TND for new or existing green entities aiming to launch or develop a green project.

For Non-Green Entities (Want to start their sustainability journey):

  • Transform Track: Up to 30,000 TND for mature entities (over 3 years of existence) launching a new green project with strong impact.
  • Launch Track: Up to 12,000 TND for new or existing entities aiming to launch a new green project.

A co-financing of 5% of the project is required from the participant.
