UAE-based AI finance management platform Kudwa has successfully raised $1.1 million in a Seed funding round. The capital injection will accelerate the startup’s product development, enhance its core technology, and fuel its go-to-market strategy across the Gulf and the United States.
Quick Facts
- Secured $1.1M Seed round from multiple global venture firms.
- Preparing to onboard 500 clients across US and GCC.
- Blends machine learning with large language models for finance.
Automating the Financial Brain for Modern Enterprises
Built to eliminate fragmented financial data, Kudwa positions itself as the “financial brain” for enterprise teams. The platform connects directly to existing ERP, accounting, and operational systems to deliver real‑time financial planning and analysis.
By automating manual workflows, Kudwa enables finance teams to move away from tedious spreadsheet management. The system generates actionable recommendations, customized analytics dashboards, and cash visibility models.
To ensure data accuracy and operational stability, the company’s architecture combines machine learning with large language models. This hybrid approach allows the statistical models inherent in machine learning to mitigate the risks typically associated with language model outputs.
Strategic Backing and Market Expansion
The Seed round attracted a diverse syndicate of global and regional investors. Participants include UK-based 1818 Venture Capital, F6 Ventures (Flat6labs), US-based Sparked VC, Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), and Lebanon-based IM Fndng.
With the new capital, Kudwa plans to deepen its platform capabilities. The engineering team will focus on multi-entity consolidation, consistent reporting, AI-driven forecasting, and expanding strategic integrations tailored to enterprise business needs.
The founders emphasized a strict focus on product-market fit and execution. “Our focus has been simple: obsess over customers, ship what they ask for, and build a world-class team that can deliver the AI-powered financial brain businesses rely on,” the founding team noted.
Recognizing the evolving demands placed on executive teams, CEO Karl Nasr highlighted the platform’s core mission: “Finance people are the strategic partner of the CEO, and we intend to support them.”
