Hackathon Overview
The UAE Open Finance + AI Hackathon is a competitive event where the region’s most creative minds will leverage the UAE’s national Open Finance platform and AI technologies to build innovative solutions. The program consists of a seven-day virtual build sprint, supported by mentorship, which culminates in an in-person Grand Finale in Abu Dhabi. During the finale, teams will present their solutions to an executive judging panel from Nebras and ADCB.

- SME & Corporate Empowerment: How intelligent automation and Open Finance can help businesses run smoother.
- Risk, Trust & Compliance: How to make finance safer and smarter at scale.
- Smart Automation & Integration: How intelligent systems can act on behalf of users with their consent and control.
Who Can Join
- The hackathon is open to domestic and international FinTechs (startups, scale-ups), licensed financial institutions, and technology partners.
- Roles can include developers, designers, product managers, and analysts.
- Participation is team-based, with a required team size of 2-7 people.

- Team Selection: November 5-6, 2025.
- Virtual Kickoff Event: November 7, 2025.
- Build Sprint Week (Virtual): November 8-14, 2025.
