AnaAkhtar, a UAE-based educational technology startup, has officially launched the full version of its innovative bilingual platform focused on social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) development. Following a series of successful pilots and gaining accreditation, the company has fully deployed what is being hailed as the MENA region’s first dedicated platform to support student growth beyond traditional academics. The official launch was marked by a founders’ meeting at the company’s office in Amman, Jordan.
A New Era for Regional Education
AnaAkhtar aims to address a critical gap in the regional education system by providing students with tools to build resilience, empathy, and responsible decision-making skills. The platform uses interactive and accredited curricula designed around real-life scenarios to engage students, parents, and school counselors. It moves beyond conventional learning to tackle the unseen challenges young people face.
Eman Alotaibi, CEO & Founder of AnaAkhtar, commented on the launch: “This is more than a launch; it is the moment I carried from idea to vision to reality, a turning point for education in our region. AnaAkhtar is not just technology; it is my belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive beyond classrooms and grades. Together, we are building a lasting solution: the first bilingual SEB EdTech of its kind in the MENA region designed for our children, our future.”
Built in MENA for MENA
A core differentiator for AnaAkhtar is its commitment to cultural relevance. The platform has been meticulously designed to blend global research in SEB development with a deep understanding of the diverse cultural contexts across the Middle East and North Africa. This approach ensures that the content is both impactful and relatable for its target audience.
“We have invested not only in a platform but in a vision—one that creates a unique impact for our region and goes far beyond education as we know it,” said Hussam Talal Ghazzawi, Co-Founder of AnaAkhtar. “What makes it especially meaningful to me is that AnaAkhtar has been carefully tailored to reflect each culture in our region. That cultural relevance is what gives this platform its true meaning and impact.”
Scalable Technology for Widespread Impact
The platform’s full version was presented by Omar Abdelhadi, Platform Development Lead, who showcased its enhanced bilingual capabilities, scalability, and deep customization features. Designed to grow alongside educational institutions, AnaAkhtar offers a seamless and adaptable solution that can be integrated into diverse school communities.
Co-founder Eyad Deeb added, “This is not just another digital tool. It’s a new type of SEB EdTech—one that goes beyond classrooms, beyond grades, and beyond markets. What makes AnaAkhtar stand out is that it is both seamless and scalable, designed to grow with institutions and adapt to their needs.”
