Abu Dhabi-based physical intelligence company Analog has announced a strategic partnership with US robotics leader Boston Dynamics to deploy advanced robotics across the UAE. The collaboration will begin with the integration of Boston Dynamics’ famous Spot quadruped robots into Analog’s national-scale AI infrastructure, marking a significant step towards creating intelligent, autonomous systems for public services.
A Strategic MENA Partnership
Under the terms of the agreement, Analog will become the sole certified reseller, integrator, and service partner for Boston Dynamics in the UAE. The company will also serve as a premier partner for the wider Middle East and North Africa region. More than a distribution deal, the two companies will co-develop a next-generation robotics platform that embeds Analog’s neural agent, Ana, directly with Boston Dynamics’ robotic systems, creating a powerful synergy between hardware and software.
Powering Robots With A National ‘World Model’
This partnership serves as a crucial real-world test for Analog’s ambitious “World Model,” a proprietary, continuously updating digital twin of the UAE’s physical environment. Backed by Abu Dhabi’s G42 and founded by former Microsoft HoloLens creator Alex Kipman, Analog has designed this sovereign infrastructure to unify diverse digital and physical data, providing shared context for AI-driven decisions. By deploying Spot robots guided by the World Model, Analog aims to validate how its system can effectively and safely coordinate robotics operations in real time. Each mission will feed new data back into the model, continuously improving its accuracy and capabilities for future deployments.
Initial Deployment In Abu Dhabi’s Public Spaces
The first deployments are set to begin with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport. The Spot robots will be tasked with conducting park inspections, monitoring environmental quality and accessibility, and identifying areas for preventive maintenance. Analog’s neural agent, Ana, will leverage the World Model to provide decision support, allowing operators to query real-time conditions and guide robots to navigate and act with full situational awareness. The agile, four-legged Spot robot is well-suited for these tasks, capable of traversing rough terrain, climbing stairs, and carrying a 14-kilogram payload of specialized sensors.
About Analog
Analog is an independent operating company based in Abu Dhabi with a lead investment from G42 Group. Partnered with the UAE and Abu Dhabi governments, its mission is to create the world’s first city and nation-scale solutions in physical intelligence. The company is building sovereign national infrastructure, including its proprietary “World Model,” to enable AI that can perceive its environment, build context, and coordinate actions between robots and infrastructure safely and in real time.
