The Enersol Energy Challenge 2025 culminated in a powerful finale at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), spotlighting twelve pioneering founders driving the region’s energy transformation. Organized by Dubai-based impact platform C3 – Companies Creating Change in collaboration with Enersol Energy Solutions, ADNOC Drilling, and Alpha Dhabi Holding, the event showcased cutting-edge solutions poised to shape a more sustainable energy ecosystem.

A Showcase of Regional Energy Innovation

The challenge brought together a cohort of innovators presenting solutions ranging from next-generation cooling systems to advanced data intelligence. Each of the twelve finalists took the stage to pitch their ventures to a distinguished panel of judges, including Sheikh Dr. Majid Al Qassimi, H.E. Tariq Bin Hendi, PhD, Youssef Salem, Sonia Weymuller, Khalil Massoud, and Dean Watson. The initiative underscores the UAE’s commitment to fostering a robust clean energy future by supporting high-impact startups with scalable technologies.

Geothermal Cooling Innovator Strataphy Takes Top Prize

Saudi-based startup Strataphy was awarded first place for its revolutionary “Cooling as a Service” (CAS) model. The company is disrupting the geothermal cooling industry by offering a subscription-based service that eliminates significant upfront investment for customers. By leveraging the Earth’s stable subsurface temperatures and proprietary completion technologies, Strataphy provides sustainable and efficient cooling solutions, marking a significant advancement for the region’s built environment.

European Deep-Tech Startups Secure Runner-Up Spots

Securing second place was Germany-based AIRMO, a space-tech company that monitors methane emissions for energy companies and regulators using proprietary spectrometer and LiDAR instruments. Italian deep-tech startup Pipein claimed third place for its advanced robotic and sensor diagnostics platform, which promotes predictive maintenance for pipeline health across sectors including Oil & Gas, hydrogen, and aqueducts. The recognition of these international startups highlights the global draw of MENA’s evolving energy tech landscape.
