The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed at the Sharjah Publishers Conference.

The initiative is championed by PublisHer Founder H.H. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, who highlighted the importance of a strong digital backbone for the community.
