Onepane, a UAE-homegrown technology company, has officially launched Agentic IT, a new category of autonomous infrastructure designed to transform how enterprise IT teams operate. The company is recognised as the region’s first agentic AI platform purpose-built for IT operations.
While enterprises have widely adopted AI agents for sales, marketing, and customer engagement, IT departments have largely been left to manage increasing complexity with legacy, reactive tools. Onepane’s launch addresses this imbalance by introducing a sophisticated agentic layer specifically for IT operations. The move aligns with the industry shift toward what Microsoft calls “Frontier Firms,” organizations that deeply embed AI into their core operational fabric.
Addressing the Agent Gap in IT
Onepane, led by technology investor and AMX Ventures General Partner Arun Mohan, aims to close a critical efficiency gap in the modern enterprise. The company argues that while AI is revolutionizing customer-facing roles, the IT professionals supporting these innovations are still bogged down by manual processes.
“The industry has developed an ‘agent gap’,” said Mohan. “We have agents that can write emails and agents that can close deals, but we lack agents that can self-heal a cloud environment or autonomously orchestrate a DevOps pipeline. IT professionals are currently the ‘manual labour’ behind the AI revolution. We are changing that by introducing an agentic layer that serves the individual, the team, and the entire enterprise.”
The Onepane Pulse Engine
At the core of the Agentic IT ecosystem is Onepane Pulse, an AI engine developed in the UAE to unify fragmented IT environments. Unlike conventional monitoring tools that merely flag issues, Pulse analyzes vast data streams across infrastructure, applications, security, and compliance to provide actionable intelligence and enable autonomous execution.
This positions Agentic IT not as a single product but as a foundational operating system for next-generation IT teams, empowering them to shift from reactive maintenance to proactive innovation and keep pace with broader AI-driven transformations.
A Three-Tier Framework for Autonomy
Onepane’s Agentic IT model is structured on a three-tier framework designed to scale AI capabilities across an entire organization:
Personal Agent: This tier supports individual IT engineers by automating root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and data synthesis. It helps reduce alert fatigue by allowing engineers to query Pulse for immediate analysis and recommendations on production incidents.
Team Agent: Serving as a digital connective tissue between development, operations, and security teams, this agent captures institutional knowledge and executes complex workflows without manual hand-offs. For example, patching agents can autonomously schedule, validate, and report updates across multiple environments.
Enterprise Agent: This top-tier agent provides leadership with a real-time “pulse” of the organization’s entire digital estate. It aligns technical performance with business outcomes and governance, with resilience agents continuously validating recovery objectives to identify gaps before incidents occur.
