UAE’s PartyPlatform Launches To Streamline Dubai’s Event Planning Scene

3 Min Read

A new digital marketplace, The PartyPlatform, has launched in Dubai to modernize the city’s multi-billion dollar events industry. Founded by Patrick Narracott, the platform aims to simplify the traditionally complex process of planning parties and events by connecting consumers directly with a wide range of vetted vendors, from florists to DJs.

A Centralized Marketplace For A Fragmented Industry

The PartyPlatform was created to address common inefficiencies in the event planning sector, such as hidden costs, fragmented communication, and the layers of middlemen between clients and service providers. The platform offers users two primary options: hiring a full-service planner for comprehensive management or selecting individual vendors to customize their own event. By bringing vendors together in one place, it allows for direct comparison of services and pricing. A key feature is the one-tap quote request, which lets users submit their event details once and receive multiple proposals via email or WhatsApp, significantly reducing the back-and-forth communication typically required.

Data-Driven Planning And Visual Inspiration

To enhance the user experience, vendor listings on The PartyPlatform feature short video clips of past events, providing visual inspiration and helping customers conceptualize their own gatherings. Behind the scenes, a proprietary algorithm named “Ask Sara” analyzes user criteria such as budget, theme, and guest count to recommend the most suitable vendors. This data-driven approach not only assists customers in discovering new ideas but also provides vendors with a targeted marketing channel to showcase their services effectively. The platform operates with a mobile-first design, complemented by a full website for more detailed planning.

Business Model And Regional Expansion

Since its launch earlier this year, The PartyPlatform has already attracted over 10,000 visitors. The company is currently building its network of service providers by offering free vendor subscriptions until the end of September 2025, with paid packages set to roll out in October. This strategy is designed to build a comprehensive and diverse vendor base catering to events of all sizes. While its initial focus is on refining its user experience and vendor partnerships within the Dubai market, the company has clear plans to expand its operations to Abu Dhabi as its next step.
