UAE’s Qashio Launches European Headquarters in Dublin

3 Min Read

UAE-based fintech Qashio has announced the opening of its European headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. This strategic move positions the spend management solution to tap into the European market and strengthen its international presence.

The new Dublin office is the company’s fifth launch in the past 12 months, following rapid expansion with new offices in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.

A Gateway to Europe

The Dublin hub is set to become Qashio’s primary launchpad for its European operations. The move leverages the strong economic ties between the UAE and Ireland, with bilateral trade approaching €8 billion.

Armin Moradi, Founder and CEO of Qashio, commented on the expansion, “As we look to the future, we are strengthening the UAE’s international ties across financial services, clean tech, and innovation. Dublin now becomes our launchpad for Europe, where we aim to build deep local partnerships, attract global talent, and develop products that serve businesses operating across borders.”

Fueling Growth with Global Talent

To support its European ambitions, Qashio plans an extensive recruitment drive for the new hub. The company aims to hire more than 100 team members for key roles across sales, marketing, product, engineering, and finance, tapping into Dublin’s rich talent pool.

Building on Regional Momentum

Qashio’s European entry follows a period of significant growth and strategic milestones in the MENA region. Last October, the platform acquired Sanad Cash to scale its business operations.

This expansion is also fueled by a successful $19.80 million funding round closed in May, which was initially earmarked for its expansion into Saudi Arabia. The company’s growth is further supported by strong market fundamentals, including a UAE business travel market projected to grow 10% annually to reach $94 billion by 2030.
