UAE’s RAKEZ Empowers Entrepreneurs to Turn Sales Pitches Into B2B Deals

4 Min Read

For early-stage founders and growing SMEs, closing a B2B deal often comes down to navigating buyer indecision rather than simply presenting a great product. Recognizing this critical gap in founder skill sets, the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) recently hosted a targeted session in the UAE to help businesses refine their sales strategies and improve deal conversions.

Quick Facts

  • RAKEZ hosted an event to improve SME sales conversions.
  • Workshop led by SMOrchestra.ai founder Mamoun Alamouri.
  • Focuses on shifting pitches from features to problem-solving.

Shifting from Features to Problem-Solving in B2B Sales

The session, titled “Pitch with Clarity and Confidence – Sales Strategies That Win Business and Close Deals,” addressed a persistent hurdle for regional startups: building presentations that actually resonate with buyers.

Industry experts at the event pointed out that too many founders rely on sales pitches that over-index on product features and technical specifications. Instead, successful conversions require businesses to clearly demonstrate exactly how their solutions resolve real, immediate customer pain points.

Drawing on over 20 years of enterprise technology sales experience in the MENA region, Mamoun Alamouri, Founder of SMOrchestra.ai, led the core presentation. He detailed his “Frameworks for Objection-Free Sales,” emphasizing the necessity of establishing trust early to eliminate objections before they even materialize during a negotiation.

Alamouri noted that lost deals rarely happen simply because a competitor has a better product. More often, startups lose out due to buyer confusion, a lack of trust, or overall indecision.

The “Signal, Trust, Convert” Framework for Startups

To combat these common pitfalls, Alamouri introduced a structured methodology built around the concepts of “signal, trust, convert.” This framework is designed to help founders guide prospects systematically from the moment of initial interest all the way to a closed deal.

The workshop also dismantled several outdated sales myths. Participants learned that piling on more data, utilizing aggressive closing techniques, or relying solely on personal relationships does not guarantee a win. True B2B sales momentum comes from creating absolute clarity, communicating tangible value over raw features, and establishing deep credibility tailored to the specific needs of the customer.

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, highlighted the broader economic goal of these ecosystem initiatives.

“In today’s competitive landscape, the ability to communicate value with clarity and build trust quickly is what sets successful businesses apart,” Jallad said.

“We are focused on equipping our business community with the mindset and practical tools needed to strengthen how they position themselves, connect with their audience, and accelerate their growth journey.”

The workshop serves as part of an ongoing initiative by the economic zone to provide founders, decision-makers, and business owners with actionable insights that directly impact top-line revenue and operational performance.
