UAEs Secure.com Secures $4.5 Million To Deploy AI Security Teammates

3 Min Read

UAE-based cybersecurity firm Secure.com has officially closed a $4.5 million funding round led by the prominent MENA venture builder, Disrupt.com. The investment coincides with the launch of the company’s new AI-powered Digital Security Teammate (DST), a solution designed to address the staggering 4.8-million-role deficit in the global cybersecurity talent pool.

Addressing a Global Security Crisis

The cybersecurity industry is facing an unprecedented operational crisis. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, the global cost of cybercrime has soared to $10.5 trillion, while the talent gap continues to widen. In the Middle East alone, the average data breach now costs a company $7.29 million.

This immense pressure has led to a breaking point for security professionals. A survey from Object First reveals that 84% report being uncomfortably stressed, with nearly 60% considering leaving the profession. The high rates of turnover, burnout, and talent drain are weakening security defenses from within, even as AI-powered threats accelerate. Secure.com aims to bridge this gap, offering a scalable solution for mid-sized, cloud-first organisations operating with lean teams and pre-AI tooling.

Introducing AI-Powered Teammates

Founded by Uzair Gadit, Secure.com is introducing a new category of AI-native agents that function as integrated members of a security team. These DSTs are designed to investigate alerts, triage incidents, and automate compliance tasks directly within a company’s existing security stack. Unlike traditional solutions, DSTs deploy in minutes and can begin delivering value within the first half-hour.

“Security teams are drowning. We are giving them oxygen,” said Uzair Gadit, CEO of Secure.com. “The industry does not need another tool. It needs teammates. We built Digital Security Teammates to work like real colleagues. They take the night shift, clear the queue, and catch what humans miss while explaining every action. One Digital Security Teammate matches the workload of an L1 analyst and security engineer combined, at a fraction of the cost.”

The backing from Disrupt.com, the venture builder behind the $350 million bootstrapped exit of Cloudways to DigitalOcean, signals a significant regional push to accelerate AI-native security innovation from MENA.
