The agreement, signed at the Dubai World Congress 2025, aims to accelerate the development of high-definition (HD) mapping, AI research, and autonomous mobility solutions across the UAE, Central Asia, Africa, and other international markets.

The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration across three key areas. Firstly, the partners will focus on integrating HD maps, localization layers, and data formats to develop global standards for seamless cross-border autonomous mobility. Secondly, they plan to establish autonomous driving pilot programs and testbeds in key strategic regions. Finally, the alliance will foster a technology and innovation exchange, conducting joint research on AI, digital twins, sensor fusion, and real-time data updates, while also sharing best practices on safety and regulatory frameworks.
Integrating Geospatial AI with HD Mapping
The partnership combines Space42’s advanced geospatial AI capabilities with DMP’s expertise in creating precise, 3D HD maps. These maps provide the lane-level accuracy required for autonomous vehicles to localize their position and navigate complex environments safely. By merging these technologies, the companies aim to create a robust platform for deploying next-generation driverless transport solutions.
