Dubai-based deep-tech firm Zoya Technologies has officially unveiled ZoyeMed 3.0, an edge-native clinical terminal designed to provide autonomous primary and acute care. The next-generation system was presented at WHX Dubai 2026, showcasing a new architecture that combines on-device artificial intelligence, multimodal sensing, and point-of-care testing to deliver high-quality diagnostics without depending on constant cloud connectivity.
A Leap in Edge-Native Healthcare
ZoyeMed 3.0 marks a significant architectural evolution from its predecessors. While earlier versions focused on establishing a dense clinical sensorium, the new system introduces a closed-loop, edge-first design. This approach separates real-time safety and triage functions from higher-order clinical reasoning, which allows for longitudinal patient modeling over time.
This key innovation enables the AI clinic to remain fully functional in challenging environments, including areas with limited bandwidth, staffing shortages, or intermittent internet access, making it a viable solution for remote and underserved communities.
Redefining Care Delivery Infrastructure
Unlike standard telemedicine platforms or AI copilots that augment existing hospital systems, ZoyeMed 3.0 is engineered as standalone physical healthcare infrastructure. The compact, on-site unit integrates diagnostics, decision support, and patient follow-up, aiming to reduce the cognitive burden on clinicians and expand access to consistent, protocol-driven care at scale.
“ZoyeMed 3.0 moves clinical intelligence closer to the patient,” said Dr. Syed Sabahat Azim, Chief Executive Officer of Zoya Technologies. “By operating at the edge, the system is designed to function reliably even when connectivity is limited, while building a longitudinal view of patient health over time.”
Global Traction and Regional Ambition
Since 2025, Zoya Technologies has shipped 44 units of its ZoyeMed 1.0 system, with deployments underway in Mexico as part of a contract for up to 300 units. The company has also secured agreements in Colombia for 64 units annually over a three-year period.
Following its debut at WHX Dubai, the first ZoyeMed 3.0 unit has already been delivered to Bogotá for a pilot deployment. The company is now planning staged rollouts across Latin America, South Asia, and the Middle East, signaling a clear intent to bring its advanced healthtech solution to its home region.
