A Strategic Push For On-Campus Innovation

The event, held at the Faculty of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences, brought together a large audience of students and researchers. In his opening remarks, University Rector Professor Khaled Rouaski emphasized the importance of investing in young talent through dedicated training and mentorship.

He highlighted that entrepreneurship has become a cornerstone of modern university policy, showcasing the Center’s impressive track record: 600 project-holding students have been trained, 80 of whom secured funding, leading to the successful launch of 30 startups.

Bridging Academia With National Support Agencies

A key feature of the event was the extensive collaboration with national bodies dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs. Representatives from the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship, the National Microcredit Agency, the National Employment Agency, and national social security funds delivered insightful presentations.

These sessions provided students with crucial information on funding programs, support mechanisms, and the legal and social frameworks relevant to launching a new business, demonstrating a clear synergy between academic training and the broader economic ecosystem.

Inspiring The Next Wave Of Founders

The event provided a valuable platform for peer-to-peer learning and motivation, featuring successful student entrepreneurs from the Center’s 18th and 19th cohorts. These founders shared their experiences and journeys, offering practical insights and inspiration to new students embarking on their own entrepreneurial paths.

The interactive sessions and panel discussions that followed fostered a dynamic exchange between professors, current students, and young entrepreneurs, focusing on practical ways to further embed an entrepreneurial culture within the university.
