University Of Doha For Science And Technology Launches New Programs To Bridge Skills Gap

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), Qatar’s national applied university, has announced the opening of admissions for the Fall 2026 semester, introducing four new programs designed to meet the evolving demands of the local and global market. The university is now accepting online applications for its portfolio of over 80 Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Diploma programs.

New Programs Address Market Demands

In a move to directly address emerging industry needs, UDST is launching four new programs approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for the 2026–2027 academic year. These include an Executive Master of Health Administration, a Master of Science in Midwifery, a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health and Veterinary Science, and a Diploma in Animal Health and Veterinary Science. The new offerings reflect the university’s commitment to equipping students with specialized skills in critical sectors.

Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, President of UDST, emphasized the university’s core philosophy of translating academic knowledge into practical application.

Applicants are required to meet specific admission criteria and pass the university’s English and Math Placement Tests, with a Foundation Program available to help students build the necessary skills for their chosen academic paths.
