Doha is preparing to host the third edition of Web Summit Qatar, with the major tech conference scheduled to run from February 1 to 4, 2026. Organisers are anticipating a sold-out event, citing strong regional demand as tickets are expected to be snapped up within hours of release.
Expanding To Accommodate Growth
The four-day event will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), which has been expanded to include its park and surrounding outdoor areas. This expansion is a direct response to the summit’s rapid growth and is designed to handle record attendance while providing more space for sessions, meetings, and live activations.
The Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee confirmed its readiness following a final coordination meeting.
“With days remaining to the summit, we are prepared to welcome a record number of participants at the region’s largest technology event, reflecting the summit’s sustained growth and international appeal over successive editions,” stated HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani, Director of the Government Communications Office and Chairman of the Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee.
A Platform For Regional Innovation
Web Summit Qatar has quickly established itself as one of the fastest-growing technology events in the MENA region. The 2026 edition is set to bring together over 1,600 startups from global markets, more than 800 investors, and over 180 partners, cementing its role as a key platform for the regional ecosystem.
“This growth reinforces the summit’s standing as a leading global platform for technology and innovation, while also affirming The State of Qatar’s position as a destination for innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship,” added HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani.
Global Reach and Diverse Tracks
The summit will feature a lineup of over 400 speakers, including prominent technology leaders, founders, policymakers, and investors. Discussions will be held across 14 distinct tracks, covering critical sectors such as artificial intelligence, fintech, energy, digital government, healthtech, and industrial technology.
Highlighting the event’s expanding global profile, organisers have also confirmed the attendance of more than 600 international media representatives.
