Zain Innovation Campus Concludes Landmark Year Bolstering Jordan’s Startup Ecosystem

4 Min Read

Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) has solidified its position as a cornerstone of Jordan’s entrepreneurial landscape, concluding 2025 with a series of significant achievements. The platform has now supported 253 incubated startups, hosted over 6,000 events, and reached nearly 400,000 beneficiaries since its inception, marking a year of strategic expansion, innovative programs, and impactful partnerships.

Digital Expansion and New Initiatives

The year began with the launch of ZINC’s new digital platform, ZINC.JO, a significant step in connecting the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem. The platform serves as a central hub for entrepreneurs, students, mentors, and experts to network, access resources, and discover opportunities.
A key highlight was the latest edition of the “Zain Al-Mubadara” program, which provided JOD 75,000 in support. The program backed three early-stage ideas (RehabLex, LeafleX, UNIFLIX) with JOD 15,000 each, and three startups (Bab Plus, OrganicG, Avancer AI) with JOD 10,000 each, alongside a full year of incubation. ZINC has already announced the next cycle, increasing the total support to JOD 100,000.

A Benchmark for the Ecosystem

In a major contribution to the national ecosystem, ZINC, in collaboration with Wamda and Beyond Capital, released the final version of the Jordan Startup Ecosystem Report for 2018–2024. Launched at a special event under the patronage of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the comprehensive report serves as a national reference for the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial journey and is available in both Arabic and English on the ZINC website.

Fostering Strategic Partnerships

ZINC expanded its network to nearly 150 strategic partners. A key partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation led to the establishment of a joint innovation platform in Aqaba to support the southern region. The campus also acted as a strategic partner for major events, including the second edition of the “Makers’ Meetup,” the “Tawasol 2025” forum, and the “42 Irbid” coding college.
The platform deepened its involvement in key tech conferences, providing sponsorship for the “Excellence in an AI-driven Environment (ExAI’25)” conference and the “Cybersecurity Progress, Innovation, and Technology Conference (C8 2025).” These partnerships provided ZINC-supported startups like Avancer, Skids, Algebra Intelligence, and Darbcom with invaluable opportunities to showcase their solutions to investors and industry leaders.

Nurturing the Next Generation

ZINC continued its commitment to youth development through several programs. The Young Jordanian Entrepreneurs Society (YESJO) program was implemented across four locations, engaging 89 students in technology and innovation.
In technical education, ZINC launched the third edition of its “Cybersecurity Skills Development” program in collaboration with Cyber Shield Academy, operating across its branches in several universities. The platform also organized an “Innovation for People with Disabilities” hackathon, which challenged teams to develop technology-based solutions to promote inclusion.

Supporting Diverse Creative Sectors

Under its DeZain Space program, ZINC extended support to 72 new local designers in fashion, crafts, and decor, providing them with platforms to showcase and market their products.
Recognizing the growing importance of audio content, ZINC also became a strategic partner for the “Qa’det Tech” podcast. The partnership aims to disseminate specialized knowledge in technology, AI, and innovation through in-depth conversations with experts, further enriching the tech community in Jordan.
