Zain Launches AI Bootcamp To Cultivate New Startups

2 Min Read

Zain Jordan, through its dedicated innovation platform ZINC, has launched a new AI Bootcamp to accelerate innovation and foster entrepreneurial talent among Jordanian youth. The initiative is a collaborative effort with industry and academic partners, including Nokia, Al-Balqa Applied University, and Kawkab.ai, who will provide knowledge transfer support. The five-day program is taking place at ZINC’s headquarters in the King Hussein Business Park.

Developing The Next Generation Of AI Founders

The highly selective bootcamp chose 70 participants from a pool of over 450 applicants. The selection was based on the feasibility and quality of their ideas, technical backgrounds, and AI programming skills. Throughout the program, attendees will receive hands-on training focused on the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to final presentation. They will also gain access to advanced AI tools and receive mentorship from a network of local and international experts.

From Bootcamp To Market Viable Products

The primary objective of the AI Bootcamp is to transform promising ideas into tangible businesses. The program aims to develop at least 20 minimum viable AI-powered products (MVPs) by its conclusion. This outcome-driven approach is designed to lay the groundwork for a new wave of startups that can contribute to Jordan’s digital transformation, boost economic growth, and further establish the Kingdom as a regional hub for technology and innovation.
