Ten university teams will compete in the finals of the fourth Emirates Robotics Competition during Dubai Future Week 2026, organised by the Dubai Future Foundation.
The public finale will take place on Saturday, 21 November, as part of The Challenge concept at the inaugural Dubai Future Week, which runs from 18 to 21 November at Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future.
This year’s challenge asks participants to design and deploy robots that can handle logistical tasks in major libraries. Teams will program their robots to return books to assigned shelves and storage areas at Mohammed bin Rashid Library.
The finalists come from universities across the UAE, including the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Amity University Dubai, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai, Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai, the American University of Sharjah and Middlesex University Dubai.
Winners will be announced on the final day of Dubai Future Week and receive cash prizes and scholarship opportunities. The competition is organised by Dubai Future Labs, part of Dubai Future Foundation, with several academic and institutional partners.
