DMZ Cairo, a leading technology incubator, has opened applications for its new Campus Catalyst program. This unique 3-month initiative is designed to train and empower a select group of university students to become on-campus ambassadors for innovation and entrepreneurship, sparking change from within their own communities.

Program Overview

The Campus Catalyst program is a hands-on journey for students to develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills by actively building a startup culture on their university campus. The program is structured in three distinct phases and will kick off with an intensive, immersive workshop for all selected catalysts on September 24th and 25th, 2025.

Program Phases

The 3-month program will guide student ambassadors through a structured, action-oriented curriculum:

  • Phase 1: Reflect: Participants will focus on building a strong entrepreneurial mindset and developing core leadership skills through targeted workshops and training.
  • Phase 2: Connect: Catalysts will learn to identify real-world problems and needs among their fellow students and then design engaging entrepreneurship-focused activities and events.
  • Phase 3: Create: The program culminates in moving from ideation to execution, where participants will plan, test, and launch real campus initiatives designed to inspire wide-scale student participation.
