Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in partnership with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), has opened applications for Game by Code, a new, nationwide incubator program. The initiative is designed to empower university students, young entrepreneurs, and aspiring developers to enter the electronic games industry and build the next wave of Saudi gaming startups.
Program Overview
Game by Code is a 3-month, intensive incubator program that will run simultaneously in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Ahsa (Hofuf). Participants will work in teams within a fully-supported environment to develop their game ideas into viable, scalable projects. The program provides a complete journey from concept to launch, culminating in a Demo Day where teams will pitch their games to a select group of investors and industry experts.

- Expert Mentorship: Direct guidance from 12 specialized mentors from the global and local gaming industry.

Eligibility
The program is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Have prior experience or knowledge in one of the program’s four tracks: Game Art, Game Programming, Game Design, or Entrepreneurship.
- Able to commit full-time for the entire 3-month program duration.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Must have a personal laptop capable of running development software (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender).
