Oman’s COMEX 2025 Concludes With 90000 Visitors And Over 150 Deals Signed

The 34th edition of COMEX Oman 2025, the Sultanate’s largest technology and innovation exhibition, concluded on a high note after a successful four-day run at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event, held from September 8-11, attracted over 90,000 visitors and featured the participation of 152 technology startups, reinforcing its status as a premier platform for the regional digital economy.

A Hub For Business And Innovation

This year’s event was marked by significant commercial activity, with more than 150 deals and cooperation agreements signed in key sectors such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and electronic payments. The exhibition brought together over 430 local and international entities, including 35 Omani government bodies. The strong presence of global tech giants like Google Cloud, Huawei, Oracle, and Fortinet, alongside leading local players like OmanTel, Ooredoo, and Vodafone, highlighted the event’s regional importance and its role in driving public-private partnerships.

Empowering The Startup Ecosystem

In a significant boost for the local and regional entrepreneurial scene, COMEX 2025 provided a prominent stage for 152 tech startups. These emerging companies showcased their innovations to an audience of investors, industry leaders, and potential partners, gaining invaluable exposure and strategic networking opportunities. The focus on entrepreneurship was further supported by the participation of key Omani innovation enablers such as Riyada and Madayn, demonstrating a concerted effort to nurture the next generation of tech leaders.

The event also underscored Oman’s growing role as a nexus for international technology collaboration. A notable Egyptian delegation, featuring companies in AI, cloud computing, and fintech, was present, showcasing their latest digital solutions. This participation highlighted the increasing strategic partnerships between the Gulf and North African markets, aligning with the long-term goals of both Oman Vision 2040 and Egypt Vision 2030. The event concluded by honoring key participating entities and reinforcing its commitment to connecting governments, corporations, and startups.
