A key pillar of Bank Muscat’s social responsibility efforts is its support for the national entrepreneurial ecosystem. The “Al Wathbah Academy” program is specifically designed to support Omani entrepreneurs across various sectors, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to grow their businesses. Furthermore, the bank actively promotes financial literacy through its “Maliyat” electronic platform and the “Maliyat Academy” program, which aims to instill financial awareness among school students and combat electronic financial fraud.
Diverse Initiatives For Social Impact
Beyond entrepreneurship, Bank Muscat’s community programs have a broad reach. The “Green Sports Fields” initiative helps develop the infrastructure for local sports teams across the country, while the annual “Tadhamon” program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, provides essential home appliances to social security and low-income families. The bank has also been a pioneer in financial inclusivity, launching ATMs for the visually impaired in partnership with the Al Noor Association for the Blind.
