The gathering has attracted an elite audience of founders, investors, and entrepreneurs from 180 countries, including representatives from more than 40 unicorn companies. The primary goal is to accelerate funding, expand business operations, and stimulate new partnerships to drive digital growth in emerging AI-powered economies. This year’s edition connects over 2,000 innovative startups with 1,200 international investors who collectively manage assets worth $1.1 trillion.
Fostering A New Generation Of Unicorns
Since its inception in 2016, Expand North Star has served as a vital platform for more than 8,000 founders to scale their businesses. The initiative has set ambitious long-term goals, aiming to create 30,000 new jobs by 2030 and help establish at least 10 startups with valuations exceeding one billion dollars by 2031, further cementing Dubai’s position as a hub for high-growth ventures.
