Dubai Taxi Company Partners With Keeta to Scale Last-Mile Delivery Services

3 Min Read

Dubai Taxi Company PJSC (DTC), a leading mobility solutions provider in the emirate, has announced a strategic partnership with Keeta, the international subsidiary of Chinese on-demand delivery giant Meituan. The collaboration, formalized at GITEX Dubai, aims to significantly enhance last-mile delivery capabilities and pioneer next-generation logistics solutions across the city.

Strategic Fleet Expansion

As part of the agreement, DTC will deploy an initial fleet of 150 delivery motorbikes for Keeta’s operations, with plans to rapidly scale up to 500 bikes by the end of the year. This initiative is projected to generate over AED 10 million in revenues for DTC within the first twelve months, reinforcing the company’s commitment to Dubai’s fast-growing on-demand delivery market. This move builds on the strong performance of DTC’s existing delivery bike segment, which saw its revenues increase by 102% year-on-year to AED 18.2 million in the second quarter of 2025.

Tapping a High-Growth Market

The partnership allows DTC to capitalize on the UAE’s booming e-commerce and Q-commerce sectors. According to Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, the expansion aligns with the significant market opportunity, citing research from Statista that projects online food delivery revenues alone to surpass AED 5 billion in 2025. This collaboration leverages DTC’s extensive local operational capabilities and Keeta’s global delivery expertise to meet rising consumer demand.

Pioneering Future Logistics

Beyond scaling its conventional fleet, the alliance sets the stage for future innovation in logistics. Leveraging Keeta’s dedicated technology, both companies will explore the integration of advanced solutions, including drones and autonomous vehicles, into Keeta’s logistics operations in partnership with DTC. This forward-looking approach positions DTC at the forefront of a tech-driven transformation in the region’s delivery ecosystem. Alex Wei, Logistics General Manager of Keeta Middle East, noted the goal is to combine DTC’s local strength with Meituan’s advanced technologies to “build a smart, efficient, and sustainable delivery ecosystem.”
