The Future Generations Events department at the Dubai Women’s Renaissance Association has launched a series of workshops under its “Riyada B’Himma” program, designed to equip People of Determination with vital entrepreneurial skills. The initiative, which included sessions on “The Road to Entrepreneurship,” “Create Your E-commerce Store,” and “Marketing with Artificial Intelligence,” aligns with the UAE’s vision for social integration and empowerment for all members of society.
Fostering Inclusive Entrepreneurship
Khawla Al Matrooshi, Director of the Future Generations Events department, emphasized that these workshops are a precursor to a major event planned for the upcoming year. This future event will serve as a platform to promote the innovative projects of People of Determination and highlight their capabilities across various fields. “The upcoming event will be a comprehensive platform to support People of Determination with various disabilities, shining a light on this important group to enhance their integration and empowerment, with the goal of building a more inclusive and creative society,” Al Matrooshi stated.
Building A Strong Foundation
The workshops featured insights from leading experts in the region. Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Azazi, an economic consultant and entrepreneurship expert at the Center of Excellence, led a session distinguishing between traditional business and entrepreneurship. He outlined the essential steps for building a successful project, addressing potential challenges, future opportunities in the labor market, and the key factors that contribute to the sustainability of entrepreneurial ventures.
Leveraging AI For Market Reach
In another key session, Fahd Al-Shuwaili, an international lecturer in AI marketing at the Dar Al-Ilm Institute, showcased the most prominent AI platforms and their role in promoting new ventures. He highlighted the importance of leveraging modern technologies in smart marketing, enabling entrepreneurs from the People of Determination community to reach a broader audience and achieve a greater social and economic impact with their projects.
