Riyadh-based Foodics, the leading cloud-based restaurant operations and financial management platform in the Middle East, has announced a strategic commercial agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) valued at $10 million. The collaboration will see Foodics leverage AWS’s cloud computing infrastructure to support its regional expansion and accelerate the development of its artificial intelligence solutions aimed at transforming the food and hospitality sector.

Powering Predictive Analytics for Restaurants

Through this agreement, AWS will provide the scalable and secure cloud infrastructure that forms the backbone of Foodics’ platform. This will enable the company to integrate AI as a fundamental component of its SaaS Restaurant Management Solution. Foodics plans to apply this enhanced infrastructure to roll out its own AI initiatives, including predictive demand forecasting, intelligent inventory management, dynamic pricing, and AI-driven recommendations. These tools are designed to help restaurants of all sizes optimize their operations and gain greater financial control.

A Strategic Push into Fintech and SaaS

The partnership underscores Foodics’ ambition to deepen its technological capabilities and solidify its market leadership. Ahmad AlZaini, CEO and co-founder of Foodics, framed the deal as a critical step in the company’s evolution. “At Foodics, we see ourselves as a fintech-first SaaS platform with a mission to empower both SMEs and large enterprises in the F&B sector,” he stated. “This multi-million dollar agreement with AWS gives us the cloud and AI infrastructure to double down on predictive analytics… These are not add-ons; they are part of the foundation that will redefine how restaurants of every size manage their operations and finances.”
Amr Masri, Country Leader for KSA at AWS, echoed this sentiment, adding, “This agreement with Foodics highlights the immense potential of cloud computing and AI to revolutionize the food and hospitality sector. AWS is proud to provide the foundational technology that will enable Foodics to accelerate the development of their AI-driven solutions.”
