The Egyptian technology sector has demonstrated significant momentum on the global stage, with a national delegation securing contracts and partnerships valued at $54 million during GITEX GLOBAL 2025. The participation, organized by the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology (CIT), highlighted the growing capabilities and international competitiveness of Egypt’s digital industry at the landmark event held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Strategic Deals and Regional Expansion
A substantial portion of the commercial success was driven by key strategic partnerships. In the cybersecurity space, Egyptian digital solutions provider Digital Planets forged a significant partnership with global firm SonicWall. This agreement will enable Digital Planets to deliver advanced cybersecurity solutions and technologies to counter emerging electronic threats across the Middle East.
Recognition for Deep Tech Innovation
Beyond commercial contracts, Egyptian innovation received prestigious recognition. AI startup TestFlow AI was awarded the “Deep Tech & Award” at the Expand North Star event, held in conjunction with GITEX. The award is a major achievement for the emerging company, signaling the strength and potential of Egyptian startups to innovate and compete globally in advanced sectors like artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
