The new feature allows users to easily order 330 ml bottles of Zamzam water directly through the Nusuk app, with delivery available to any location within Saudi Arabia. Significantly, the service imposes no restrictions on the quantity or frequency of orders, ensuring that all residents can obtain the blessed water seamlessly and whenever needed. This move is designed to simplify the process for the local population, removing the logistical challenges previously associated with acquiring Zamzam water.
Tech-Driven Enhancements for Pilgrim Experience
This launch is part of a broader strategy by Saudi authorities to integrate technology into the management of religious affairs and enhance the overall pilgrim experience. The initiative comes as the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque reported managing an unprecedented 13.5 million visitors in a single week. To handle such massive crowds, authorities have deployed advanced reader sensors at main entrances to monitor worshipper numbers in real-time.
