The second phase of the Atliq Hackathon has successfully concluded in Riyadh, marking a significant milestone for the accelerator program designed to empower entrepreneurs and developers. The initiative, spearheaded by Bayt Al Monshaat, creates an interactive environment aimed at transforming innovative ideas into high-growth technology ventures.
A Three-Day Deep Dive
Held over three days at the Code center, the event provided participants with a structured pathway from concept to a more mature business model. The program included a series of specialized workshops focused on critical early-stage challenges, including understanding customer needs, defining core problems, and mastering user experience design.
This theoretical learning was complemented by hands-on applications, along with individual and group mentorship sessions. These activities enabled the participating teams to refine their projects, ensuring they were more robust and ready for a competitive market.
Strategic Ecosystem Support
A key highlight of the event was the emphasis on the broader support system available to Saudi entrepreneurs. Participants were introduced to the investment opportunities available through Ventures, the investment arm of Bayt Al Monshaat.
Additionally, the program showcased the extensive support offered by the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), which provides entrepreneurs with an integrated ecosystem of products and services to foster their growth.
Cultivating Investment Readiness
The final leg of the hackathon was dedicated to preparing participants for the crucial step of securing investment. The teams received intensive training on crafting and delivering compelling investment pitches, culminating in presentations before a professional judging committee. This final exercise was designed to elevate their readiness to enter the market and attract capital.
With this phase complete, participants are now set to advance to the full accelerator stage, where the focus will shift to converting their prototypes into scalable, fully-fledged technology companies, further strengthening the Kingdom’s digital entrepreneurship landscape.
