The Orange Jordan Foundation, in collaboration with ICON-Institute, has successfully concluded its growth acceleration program, celebrating the graduation of 88 startups from the Karak and Aqaba governorates. The initiative aimed to bolster the growth of these ventures across various sectors by helping them refine their business models and enhance their market competitiveness.
Comprehensive Support for Emerging Ventures
Delivered through the business accelerators of the Orange Digital Center, the program provided a holistic support package for the participating companies. Startups received advanced training, dedicated mentorship, and crucial networking opportunities designed to connect them with key players in the ecosystem. The initiative also included logistical support, empowering entrepreneurs with the resources and expertise needed to scale their operations and accelerate their growth trajectory.
Orange Jordan reiterated its commitment to empowering innovators, stating that the program’s success in Karak and Aqaba underscores the effectiveness of its initiatives in driving Jordan’s entrepreneurship ecosystem forward.
A Multi-Stakeholder Partnership for Economic Growth
This accelerator program is a key component of the broader “Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment” (E4DE) project. The E4DE initiative is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
The project is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU), highlighting a significant international commitment to fostering sustainable innovation and job creation in Jordan.
