Program Overview
The Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) aims to support the growth and expansion of startups through a combination of funding, technical assistance, and mentorship. The program is structured into three tiers designed to match the specific stage and needs of participating startups.
For this specific cycle (Track 2, Cycle 2), applications are open exclusively for Tier 1: Go-to-Market. This tier focuses on early-stage startups that offer scalable, impactful, and sustainable solutions to local challenges, providing them with the resources needed to successfully enter the market.
Key Benefits (Tier 1)
Selected participants in this cohort will receive:
- Seed Grant: A non-repayable financial grant to support market entry operations.
- Technical Services: Specialized support to address technical challenges.
- Mentorship: Guidance from industry experts to navigate the early stages of business growth.
Funding Tiers Structure
While the current application is only for Tier 1, the broader OCIF program supports startups through three distinct phases:
- Tier 1 (Go-to-Market): Non-repayable grant + technical services + mentorship.
- Tier 2 (Investment Readiness & Expansion): Non-repayable grant + interest-free loan + technical services.
- Tier 3 (Growth): Revenue-Based Financing (larger ticket size) to accelerate growth + technical support.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this specific track, startups must meet the following strict criteria:
- Alumni Status: Must be a graduate of the Orange Corners Innovation Accelerator.
- Location: Must be based in Upper Egypt or the Delta.
- Documentation: Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Register, Tax Card, and Bank Account.
- Business Model: The startup should offer a scalable, impactful, and sustainable solution.
