RFP Overview
KAFD is soliciting proposals to engage a technically proficient entity to oversee the comprehensive transformation of the Jordan Gaming Lab. The selected partner will be responsible for managing the daily operations, infrastructure, and strategic growth of the lab’s network. The core objective is to position Jordan as a regional hub for gaming and interactive technology by upgrading facilities and implementing high-quality training programs that connect local talent with the global ecosystem.
Scope of Work
The successful bidder will execute a mandate focused on three key areas:
- Infrastructure & Technical Operations: Upgrading eight gaming centers with robust power solutions (UPS), secure server rooms, high-performance workstations, and advanced hardware like PS5 Development Kits and Nvidia AI GPUs.
- Curriculum & Training: Developing and delivering modular training curricula for all skill levels in game development, AI, and simulation, while managing a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS).
- Strategic Expansion: Guiding the lab’s growth into emerging technologies such as XR (Extended Reality), 5G gaming, and immersive storytelling to ensure long-term competitiveness.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Legally registered in Jordan or authorized to operate within the country.
- Demonstrated experience in managing digital labs, innovation labs, tech incubators, or accelerators.
- Proven expertise in delivering training for game development and emerging technologies.
- Adequate staffing capacity with professional certifications and a track record in youth training or EdTech.
