Nutanix To Support NVIDIA’s Next-Generation Rubin Platform For Enterprise AI

4 Min Read

Nutanix, a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to integrate its comprehensive AI operating environment with the next-generation NVIDIA Rubin platform. The partnership aims to provide enterprises with a simplified, turnkey solution to build and manage their own “AI factories,” significantly reducing the complexity and time required to generate value from artificial intelligence applications.

A Turnkey Solution for AI Factories

As generative AI models continue to grow in size and complexity, the underlying infrastructure required to power them becomes increasingly demanding. Nutanix addresses this challenge with an integrated AI operating environment built on its Acropolis Operating System (AOS) and AHV Hypervisor. This environment includes the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP), Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI), and Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS), creating a complete system to operationalize AI infrastructure.
By combining this stack with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and NVIDIA NIM microservices, the two companies offer a streamlined path for businesses to deploy AI, moving from hardware delivery to token generation as rapidly as possible. This approach simplifies infrastructure management and allows organizations to focus on developing AI-powered solutions.

Supporting the Future of Accelerated Computing

To keep pace with the latest advancements, Nutanix will support the newly introduced NVIDIA Rubin platform. This includes support for the NVIDIA Vera Arm-based CPUs and the powerful NVIDIA Rubin GPUs for both bare metal and virtualized environments.

The support extends across NVIDIA’s new architecture, encompassing the NVIDIA Inference Context Memory Storage Platform with the NVIDIA BlueField-4 storage processor and the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet Photonics switch systems. This ensures that customers can leverage a completely accelerated data center environment optimized for the most demanding AI workloads.

“The AI-driven industrial revolution requires a foundation that strips away complexity to deliver rapid time to value for enterprise AI,” said Justin Boitano, vice president, Enterprise AI Products, NVIDIA. “By integrating the NVIDIA Rubin platform with Nutanix’s AI operating environment, organizations gain a sovereign AI foundation to build their own AI factories and turn proprietary data into a decisive competitive advantage.”

MENA Poised to Benefit from Simplified AI Infrastructure

For enterprises across the MENA region, the collaboration addresses a growing need to deploy AI at scale while maintaining data sovereignty and compliance with local regulations. The ability to build powerful, efficient, and easy-to-manage on-premise AI infrastructure is a critical advantage for organizations in sectors like finance, government, and healthcare.

“In the UAE, organizations are increasingly looking to leverage AI at scale while ensuring local control and compliance,” said Mahmoud Sharaf, Director, Systems Engineering – South Gulf & Sub-Saharan Africa at Nutanix. “By combining Nutanix’s integrated AI operating environment with NVIDIA Rubin platforms, enterprises can accelerate AI adoption, simplify infrastructure management, and generate real business value from day one.”
