Bidaya, in partnership with Orange Corners, is calling for applications for the new cohort of the Orange Corners Caravan. This incubation program is dedicated to supporting startups and innovative projects in the agriculture sector, with a primary focus on the Fez–Meknes region, though high-potential projects from other regions of Morocco are also welcome to apply.

Program Overview

The Orange Corners Caravan aims to empower 15 ambitious entrepreneurs who are developing impactful solutions for a sustainable future in agriculture. Running from February to June 2026, the program offers a comprehensive support structure designed to help founders validate their business models and scale their impact. The initiative is implemented by Bidaya with support from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

Key Benefits

Selected participants will join a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and receive:

  • Financial Support: A monthly living allowance and incubation subsidy throughout the program.
  • Additional Funding: Opportunities for further funding (subsidy and interest-free loans) for the best-performing projects.
  • Expert Guidance: Access to personalized coaching, mentoring, and intensive bootcamps.
  • Networking: Connection to a dynamic ecosystem of partners and peers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age: Founders must be aged 18 to 35. For projects with multiple partners, at least one must meet this age requirement.
  • Sector: Must be an innovative startup or project within the agriculture sector.
  • Viability: Projects are assessed based on execution capacity, technical feasibility, and the financial viability of the business model.
  • Impact: Strong potential for job creation and positive social or environmental impact.

Target Themes

The program specifically seeks solutions in the following priority areas:

  • Climate-Smart Agriculture: Solutions for water resilience and adaptation to climate change.
  • Sustainable Horticulture: Greenhouse production, automation, and modern value chains.
  • Smart Water Management: Precision irrigation, remote sensing, and data-driven decision tools.
  • Renewable Energy: Solar pumping and low-carbon agricultural systems.
  • Innovation & Inclusion: Agri-tech for arid zones, resilient seeds, and initiatives promoting economic inclusion for women and youth.
