Flow Accelerator has successfully concluded a transformative 4-day Blockchain Bootcamp in collaboration with Gaza Sky Geeks. Held as part of the PIEC Ideation Program, the intensive training was designed to equip aspiring Palestinian entrepreneurs with the technical and business foundations required to innovate within the decentralized technology space. The program underscores the increasing regional focus on Web3 technologies as a tool for economic resilience and digital sovereignty.
Four Days Of Deep Tech Immersion
The bootcamp followed a structured curriculum that moved from theoretical foundations to hands-on development and business validation.
- Day 1: Foundations of Trust: Participants explored the evolution of money and identified specific market problems where blockchain offers a viable solution.
- Day 2: Technical Fundamentals: The session covered core concepts including decentralization, encryption, consensus mechanisms, and wallet security.
- Day 3: Building the Ecosystem: Entrepreneurs received an introduction to Solidity programming, built Smart Contracts, and explored the utility of Decentralized Applications (DApps) and NFTs.
- Day 4: Design and Pitch: The final day focused on solution validation, developing problem statements, and pitching innovative ideas to experts for constructive feedback.
Collaborative Expertise Driving Innovation
The success of the bootcamp relied on a blend of local leadership and technical expertise from across the Palestinian tech ecosystem.
- Kareem Kort: Co-Founder of Byrdbyte Creations Inc., sharing real-world insights on blockchain implementation.
- Dr. Yahya Al-Salqan: CEO of Jaffa.Net Software, providing deep technical perspective on software architecture.
- Leen Abubaker & Leena Khattab: Lead organizers from Flow Accelerator who facilitated the program’s integration into the broader Palestinian startup landscape.
Strengthening The Digital Future
This initiative, supported by Seedstars and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, is part of a broader effort to ensure Palestinian youth are not just consumers of global tech but creators of it. By mastering blockchain, these entrepreneurs are preparing to enter high-growth sectors that are currently a major focus at regional events like Web Summit Qatar 2026, where Palestinian startups are increasingly showcasing decentralized solutions.
