In a strategic move to bolster the local startup ecosystem, the Emirates Entrepreneurship Association (EEA) has announced a new partnership with The Accounter Technologies, a fintech firm registered at the Dubai International Financial Centre. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to provide entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with access to professional, cost-effective accounting and tax solutions.
Addressing Financial Hurdles for SMEs
The collaboration directly tackles common challenges faced by emerging businesses, including the high cost of hiring in-house accountants and the complexity of existing financial software. By offering streamlined and affordable services, the partnership seeks to enhance the financial resilience and sustainability of ventures within the UAE.
Under the agreement, members of the EEA will benefit from a suite of services designed to simplify financial management and ensure regulatory compliance.
A Suite of Tailored Solutions
The Accounter, through its operational arm “The Counter for Bookkeeping and Consulting Services,” will provide EEA members with a 10% discount on all its subscription packages. The offerings are tiered into four levels—Free, Basic, Professional, and Premium—based on a company’s monthly document volume, ensuring a scalable solution for businesses at every stage.
The partnership also covers comprehensive tax services, including consulting, registration with the Federal Tax Authority, report submissions, and tax refund requests, all at a discounted rate. A simplified digital registration process will allow EEA members to be verified and gain access to these services within 24 hours, with a strong commitment to data protection and confidentiality in line with UAE law.
