The inaugural Ai Everything MEA summit, held in Cairo from February 11-12, has successfully positioned the city as a burgeoning hub for regional AI innovation. The event’s highlight was the Supernova AI MEA startup challenge, where India’s Krigat AI Health Tech won the grand prize, and Egypt’s Olimi Ai was recognized as the country’s most innovative AI solution.

Cairo Takes Center Stage for Regional AI Innovation

Hosting the Supernova AI MEA competition for the first time, Egypt welcomed founders from over 30 countries. The challenge saw 75 semi-finalist startups pitch their solutions to international judging panels and investors, focusing on market-ready and scalable AI applications that reflect the region’s growing presence on the global innovation map.

The competition culminated with two major equity-free prizes of $10,000 each. While Krigat AI Health Tech was named the overall Supernova AI Champion, Olimi AI captured the award for the top AI innovation from the host nation, underscoring the strength of the local ecosystem.

Olimi AI was selected as the best innovative AI solution for its work in developing advanced multilingual and multi-dialect Arabic voice agents designed for enterprise environments across the region. The company’s technology automates high-volume inbound and outbound calls, accurately understanding regional Arabic dialects alongside English and other business languages. The platform also transforms each call into structured data, empowering businesses to qualify leads, identify trends, and turn customer interactions into actionable intelligence.

“The event was an excellent platform to celebrate AI innovation and a valuable opportunity to connect with global startups and industry experts,” said Hazem Srour, Co-founder of Olimi AI. “The cash prize will support our cloud infrastructure and the development of our smart models, enhancing our ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of institutions in the region.”

The grand prize winner, Krigat AI Health Tech, earned the Supernova AI Champion title for its AI-powered platform that leverages computer vision and biomechanical intelligence. The technology revolutionizes physical therapy, rehabilitation, and human motion analysis by analyzing joint movements and postural patterns using standard cameras, eliminating the need for wearables or specialized lab equipment. It provides real-time, AI-backed analytics for clinicians, fitness professionals, and patients.

“It’s not just about winning, but the fun, excitement, and thrill of participating in the Supernova challenge and Ai Everything MEA Egypt,” said Priyanshi Tater, Co-founder and Head of Design at Krigat. “We are very excited for what’s next, starting with AI Everything Abu Dhabi and many more opportunities to come.”
