Kortech, a subsidiary of leading MENA engineering and construction group Hassan Allam Holding, has announced a significant collaboration with global technology conglomerate Honeywell. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly automate and digitize critical infrastructure projects across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
A Strategic Alliance for Digital Transformation
The agreement combines Honeywell’s extensive global expertise in automation, digital technologies, and software analytics with Kortech’s deep regional knowledge and turnkey infrastructure delivery capabilities. This strategic partnership aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the region’s built environment, focusing on enhancing resilience and energy efficiency in large-scale developments.
The MoU was formalized in the presence of Eng. Hassan Allam, Group CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, and Billal Hammoud, President and CEO of Honeywell Building Automation, signaling high-level commitment from both organizations.
Targeting Key Infrastructure Verticals
By integrating their respective strengths, Honeywell and Kortech plan to deliver advanced solutions for a range of ambitious projects. The collaboration will specifically target the rapidly growing sectors of data centers, major transportation initiatives, and comprehensive smart-city developments, which are central to the economic diversification goals of countries throughout the MENA region.
