Abu Dhabi-based AI holding group G42 has signed a memorandum of understanding with digital transformation consultancy Publicis Sapient to explore the creation of a joint venture. The proposed entity will focus on accelerating enterprise AI adoption across the UAE and the wider Global South.
The initiative aims to help enterprises and government bodies transition from AI experimentation to full-scale deployment, enabling them to achieve measurable business outcomes through technology.
A Strategic Alliance for AI Deployment
The proposed joint venture is designed to deploy AI agents at scale and foster data-driven operations across a multitude of sectors. Planned services will encompass cloud modernization, development of specific AI use cases, creation of intelligent agents, enterprise software engineering, and comprehensive end-to-end AI deployment and optimization.
This collaboration aims to address a critical market need by providing a clear pathway for organizations to integrate AI into their core operations effectively.
Combining Sovereign AI with Global Expertise
The partnership will leverage the distinct strengths of both entities. G42 contributes its complete AI technology stack, which includes sovereign cloud infrastructure, advanced foundation models, and a deep pool of AI-native engineering talent with significant deployment capabilities across the UAE and emerging markets.
Publicis Sapient will bring its established enterprise AI platforms, such as Sapient Slingshot for accelerating the software lifecycle and Sapient Bodhi for industry-specific AI agents. The company also offers extensive global transformation experience, having operated in over 50 markets worldwide.
His Excellency Mansoor Al Mansoori, CEO of G42 International, stated that the partnership signifies the next evolution of the company’s AI services platform. He emphasized the combination of sovereign infrastructure with global transformation capabilities to deliver scalable, outcome-driven AI solutions.
Nigel Vaz, CEO of Publicis Sapient, noted that the collaboration will empower organizations to embed AI into their day-to-day operations by uniting infrastructure, platforms, and industry-specific expertise to solve tangible business challenges.
Subject to final agreements, the partners plan to formalize the venture’s commercial and operational structures, with a target establishment date of mid-2026.
