Siham El Mandooudi, the 35-year-old Moroccan-Belgian founder of Studio Elmando, has been awarded the title of “Best Businesswoman” in the city of Mechelen, Belgium. The entrepreneur secured the prestigious recognition after garnering more than 1,500 votes from the local community.
El Mandooudi expressed her surprise at the win, stating she had not expected it and attributed the success largely to her dedicated clients and the wider community who encouraged others to vote.

In just one year since its launch, Studio Elmando has evolved from a women-only fitness studio into a vibrant and supportive community hub. The space has quickly become a popular meeting point for a growing number of clients, fostering a strong sense of connection and mutual support.
El Mandooudi highlighted how community-building initiatives have been central to this success. She noted a recent Ramadan Iftar event that brought together nearly 30 women, contributing to the creation of what she describes as a “small family.”
