EdTech Startup Peekapak Grants GCC Schools Free Access to Premium Wellbeing Platform

As remote learning models and shifting daily routines place new pressures on students across the Gulf, edtech startup Peekapak is opening its full K–12 wellbeing program to educators and families at no cost for the remainder of the academic year.

Quick Facts

  • Free premium access for GCC schools through the academic year.

  • Initiative aligns with the UAE’s Year of the Family 2026.

  • Peekapak is backed by Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund.

Addressing Disrupted Routines in GCC Education

Schools and learning institutions across the GCC are currently managing a significant period of change. Working parents and educators face the dual challenge of meeting strict curriculum requirements while mitigating the emotional toll that shifting schedules take on students.

To alleviate this pressure, Peekapak is unlocking its premium wellbeing platform—a system typically deployed as a paid, school-wide structured program. The rollout equips educators with interactive resources, pre-built slideshows for online delivery, and structured student check-ins designed for both physical and virtual learning environments.

This marks only the second time Peekapak has opened its platform on this scale. The company previously took a similar step during the COVID-19 pandemic, launching a global initiative that reached over 2,800 schools and 438,000 students.

Aligning EdTech with the UAE Year of the Family 2026

Beyond classroom tools, the platform’s current release includes dedicated materials for parents, such as the “Steady, Together” lesson series. These resources help caregivers support children through uncertainty and transitions at home.

The strategic move directly aligns with the UAE’s Year of the Family 2026, highlighting the necessity of viewing student wellbeing as a collaborative effort between the school and the wider family unit.

Haya Alfhaid, Program Manager at Peekapak, noted the timing of the release.

“Schools and educators are facing increased demands right now, balancing remote learning, curriculum requirements, and the wellbeing of their students,” Alfhaid said.

“By opening access to our full wellbeing platform, we provide structured, practical tools that can be used immediately, helping students feel supported, connected, and ready to learn, even during these times of change.”
