Egypt’s Commercial International Bank (CIB) has rolled out a new edition of the “She’s Next” initiative, teaming up with Visa and Shark Tank Egypt to back female entrepreneurs. The program aims to accelerate the growth and development of women-led small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the country.

Accelerating Female-Led SMEs in Egypt

As part of a broader global program, the initiative equips female founders with practical tools and industry expertise. The structure is designed to help participants expand their operations by building networks with fellow entrepreneurs and securing suitable financing solutions.

Beyond capital access, the program connects women with leading specialists in the startup ecosystem. This mentorship component aims to address the operational hurdles female founders often face when scaling their businesses.

USAID Backs Ecosystem Growth

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is also participating in the initiative. Aligning with United Nations development goals, USAID will deliver targeted technical assistance to the cohort.

This specialized training is structured to ensure participants can effectively scale their operations, sustain their business models, and broaden their economic impact within the Egyptian market.
