UAE Cybersecurity Startup Lyrie.ai Secures $2 Million Pre-Seed to Launch AI Trust Protocol

3 Min Read

UAE-based cybersecurity firm Lyrie.ai has officially exited stealth mode, announcing a $2 million pre-seed funding round from unnamed investors. The company, developed by OTT Cybersecurity LLC, is focused on building a security foundation for the rapidly growing economy of autonomous AI agents.

Quick Facts

  • Funding: $2 million pre-seed round.
  • Focus: Securing autonomous AI agents.
  • Key Launch: Agent Trust Protocol (ATP).

Tackling the “Anonymous AI” Problem

Lyrie.ai is addressing a critical vulnerability in the agentic AI space: the lack of inherent identity and security standards. As AI agents gain more autonomy to execute transactions and access sensitive data across enterprise and government systems, the potential for misuse grows.

“The agentic AI economy is being built right now, and it is being built without a security foundation,” said Guy Sheetrit, CEO and Founder of OTT Cybersecurity LLC. “Every AI agent on theinternet today is effectively anonymous. No identity verification, no scope enforcement, no tamper detection. We built the infrastructure that changes that.”

Introducing the Agent Trust Protocol (ATP)

Alongside the funding, Lyrie.ai introduced the Agent Trust Protocol (ATP). The company describes ATP as an open cryptographic standard designed for AI agent identity verification, authorization, attestation, and revocation.

The protocol aims to become the foundational trust layer for AI interactions, much like SSL/TLS secured the early web. Lyrie.ai intends to submit ATP to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as a royalty-free open industry standard, encouraging widespread adoption.

Fueling Research and Market Expansion

The new capital will be used to advance platform development, grow the security research team, and deploy the Agent Trust Protocol across its partner ecosystem. This move is supported by OTT Cybersecurity LLC’s recent acceptance into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Programme (CVP), which backs operators working on AI safety and vulnerability research.

The company is now preparing for a future Series A round to scale its deployment across enterprise and government clients.
