Berytech has officially launched its latest Clyntech program, welcoming eight startups selected to join its structured incubation and growth pathway. The new cohort was chosen from a competitive pool of eleven applicants and will focus on developing Cleantech solutions in Lebanon.

The induction day provided the founders with a detailed overview of the program’s design, technical support, and key milestones. An opening statement set the tone for the accelerator: “Eight teams. One shared mission, to drive innovation and create lasting impact through the Clyntech program.”
Setting the Stage for Growth
The agenda for the day was designed to equip the founders with essential strategic and financial tools. The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team first detailed the operational procedures, reporting frameworks, and accountability requirements for the program.
Elise Sfeir, Accelerator Manager at Berytech, led a session on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), a goal-setting framework the startups will use to define and track their progress. Following that, Najib Zbeidy, an Investment Specialist at Berytech, delivered a session on the current economic and investment climate, giving founders context on positioning their ventures for funding and long-term stability.
High-Level Backing for Lebanon’s Cleantech Sector
The program’s launch was marked by the attendance of influential figures, signaling strong support for Lebanon’s growing Cleantech sector.
Maroun N. Chammas, Chairman and CEO of Berytech, personally welcomed the cohort, expressing his confidence in their potential and reinforcing Berytech’s commitment to supporting local innovation.
Kamal Shehadi, Lebanon’s Minister of State for Technology & Artificial Intelligence, was also present. His attendance highlighted the government’s view of Cleantech as a strategic component for the country’s economic resilience and technological development. Their presence affirmed that the cohort’s work is part of a larger national effort to innovate and rebuild.
